Just continuing a Claude conversation

If you only need to continue a local Claude Code session from your phone or browser, check Anthropic’s official Claude Code Remote Control first.

Termlets

Full terminal access in your browser

Use Termlets when you want the actual shell where Claude Code runs—so you can run tests, inspect logs, and run Git or other commands in the same terminal. Both run on your own computer.

3 steps to use Claude Code from your phone

  1. Start Termlets in your project folder

Run npx --yes termlets@beta in your project folder, and keep that terminal window open.

  2. Scan the QR code and match the 4-digit number

Scan the QR code in your computer’s Termlets window with your phone camera (or enter the 12-character code on termlets.com), check that the 4-digit request number matches on both screens, and press Enter (or y) on your computer to allow.

  3. Run Claude Code in the connected terminal

Once connected, run claude right in that terminal. Close the page and your tasks keep running—as long as your computer and Termlets stay running, reopen the page anytime to pick right back up.

FAQ & Current Limits

Is this an official Claude Code mobile app?

No. Termlets is neither a standalone mobile app nor an official Anthropic product—it connects your mobile browser to the terminal running on your own computer, using your own Claude Code installation.

Can it attach to a Claude session already running in another terminal window?

No. Start Termlets first and run Claude Code inside the terminal session managed by Termlets so you can reconnect to it from your browser.

Does it work if my computer sleeps or shuts down?

No. Closing the browser page leaves your tasks running, but your computer and the Termlets window must stay awake and online.

Which platforms are supported?

The computer-side beta supports Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 26) and Linux arm64/x64 with glibc ≥ 2.36 (tested on Debian 12 arm64/x64 and Ubuntu 24.04 arm64; not every distribution or shell is covered yet). Requires Node.js ≥ 22.23.3 and tmux, plus libstdc++6 on Linux. Alpine/musl, Intel Macs, and Windows are not supported.
